Cold Finished Bar
Precision drawn and straightened to cold finish bar specifications, as cold drawn, ground and polished or turned and polished. All bar is available in all standard AISI grades.
Cold finished bar offers users advantages in mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy, surface integrity and machining performance over alternative materials.

Saw Cutting: Assures smooth, perpendicular ends with no distortion. Depending on size and shape, bar can be cut to lengths from 6' to 40' to meet specific requirement.
Polishing: Provides specific RMS surface finish to meet specific requirement.
Eddy Current Testing: A nondestructive testing method that rejects any bar with hot rolled surface defects.
Stress Relieving: A low-temperature heating process that reduces residual stresses to meet specific requirements. |

Corrugated Metal Pipe Fasteners
We offer a full line of corrugated metal pipe fasteners to meet all AASHTO specifications and made from steel produced only in the United States. Because Nucor-LMP is the only full-line producer of corrugated metal pipe fasteners in the United States, a full inventory of the following items is available: rivets, aluminum rivets, bolts, oval and flat lugs, water tight band rods, CSP band angles, aluminum angles, silo lugs, hex nuts, and flange nuts.

Electro-Galvanizing
Preserves steel with a rust-preventing zinc coating.
Nucor-LMP is the only cold finished bar mill with the capability to galvanize bar up to 22" lengths. We also offer bar line plating for large objects and barrel line plating for small parts.
Nucor-LMP can plate from .250" X 18" up to 1.500" x 22'.
Barrel Line Galvanizing available for specialty items upon inquiry.
Wire
Industrial quality and plating is available to meet specific requirements.
